On the very first appointment, Dr. Previtt will perform a complete and comprehensive examination and discuss the details of your orthodontic care, at which time any and all questions can be answered. During the course of treatment, you are welcomed to accompany your child and to participate in each step along the way. You will always feel like your child is priority one.

You cannot help but notice the relaxed, friendly atmosphere that permeates throughout the office. Laughing is contagious and it will not be long before you feel as if you are one of the family. That might be why so many of our patient referrals come from friends, family, or co-workers, as well as the general dentist.
Convenient
The Derby/Orange office is conveniently located near the Big Y plaza on Route 34, between the exits for Route 8 and 15. Our usual hours of operation are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Your time is valuable, so we make every effort to get you in and out in a timely manner while still giving your child the attention they require.
Your online account will allow you to check your appointments, receive text or email reminders, and communicate with the staff from your computer or phone.
Conservative
Keeping the proper perspective is critical. Dr Previtt tries to propose the treatment options that he would if it were his own family. If he feels that your child is not yet ready for treatment, they will be placed on recall until the time is more appropriate. If an early phase of treatment is necessary, he will keep it as simple and practical as possible.

Serving the New Haven/Naugatuck Valley since 1986, Dr. Previtt still emphasizes the importance in continuing education in keeping the practice up-to-date with current techniques and technology. His involvement in a multi-disciplinary study group helps to keep him abreast of all phases of dentistry as they relate to orthodontics.

The cost of orthodontic treatment varies depending on the needs of your child. We will discuss fees and payment options before treatment is started and can find an option that fits your budget. With a small down payment, we will commonly finance interest-free monthly payments over the course of treatment. Most major credit cards are accepted. We accept assignment from most insurance plans and will assist you in filing the paperwork.
Retention
Most of us have experienced orthodontic relapse over the years, but retention is quite different these days. Long-term success is now our goal. Retainers are much easier and designed to keep your smile looking great for years to come. Therefore, Dr. Previtt will continue to see you for as long as you wish at no additional charge.
